Fiction, as a Vehicle for Truth

In Volume 1 of this periodical Jacob Abbott wrote a nine page article, "Fiction, as a Vehicle for Truth". This is a short treatise on how works of fiction can be used to teach morality. And indeed that perhaps fiction can be used more easily than non fiction in teaching the lessons of Christianity.
