Gentle Measures in the Management and Training of the Young, 1871

This title was published in a number of editions by Harper and Brothers beginning in 1871. The earlier book has 330 pages. The later 298 page book has 24 chapters which speak to raising, educating and disciplining children. The contents of both editions are the same with the exception that the earlier book has 11 pictures. The pictures have a blank reverse which counts as a page. The earlier book also starts on page 11.
